Relaxing Onsen Experience

The onsen facilities were a highlight of our stay. Although the in-room onsen is designed for one person, it was an very nice way to experience traditional bathing. For a romantic option, we rented one of the private onsens. It was well worth the 2,000 JPY for a beautiful, relaxing 40 minutes together.

I had a delightful stay at this onsen hotel nestled in the mountains of central Izu. The location is serene and quite private, with lovely views from my room. The facilities, while enjoyable, could use a bit more to stand out compared to nearby hotels. The dining was pleasant, but not exceptional. Unfortunately, the heat inside the hotel was a downside due to the electricity shortage affecting many places in Japan.
